SUBJECT: Final Plat approved
The final
plat of the Lakes of Katy subdivision was approved by the Waller County Commissioners Court this past Tuesday, February 10. This was a big step, since it was the final
governmental approval required. The
subdivision plat will now be recorded and filed for public record in the Waller
County Clerk’s office, clearing the way for title transfers to lot buyers.
The
County Commissioners indicated they were happy to see
the subdivision going in and voted unanimously for its approval. “The developers have complied with all of
our regulations, and no variances were needed,” said Tom Beck, P.E., the County Engineer of Waller County who presented the plat to
Commissioners Court, along with his staff’s
recommendation for approval. The subdivision plat had been extensively
reviewed by other county agencies, including the County health district,
drainage district, emergency services district, and other county agencies.
